Meeting Room Layouts

The Governor Hotel staff prides itself on the excellent service, banquet facilities and overnight accommodations we offer. Listed below are brief banquet room descriptions and dimensions for you to review. If you have a unique room set up that is not listed, please contact us directly and we will be happy to visit with you about it.

As a valued guest we know there are many facilities for you to choose from and appreciate your confidence in us. Our professional and talented staff looks forward to working with you and will make it our #1 priority to ensure your event is a success.


Washington Room
The Washington Room has a large window providing natural light and overlooks Capitol Lake. There is an 8-foot projection screen and dimming lights for presentations.  The pre-function area outside the room is perfect for your event registration or product display.

Legislative Room
The Legislative Room is located just steps from the lobby and Guest Services. This room has a tiered ceiling with dimming lights and provides an excellent atmosphere for smaller meetings and social events.

Council Room
Located in a private setting, the Council Room is a comfortable space for the smaller meeting and/or breakout room for larger sessions.


State Room
Just off the lower lobby area, the State Room offers both convenient access and private setting. This room is perfect for the smaller meeting and/or breakout room for larger sessions.


Executive Boardrooms
Overlooking Capitol Lake, these boardrooms are set with a large conference table and executive leather chairs. These rooms are a great location for smaller board meetings and private dining.
