MIJAS Restaurant empowers survivors of domestic violence

MIJAS Restaurant is a social organization conceived by a group of Latina women wanting to help women in crisis of domestic violence. The majority of the women who founded MIJAS were themselves survivors of domestic violence and now want to help other women going through a similar situation by providing support, job training and a safe environment where they can be themselves.
