Governor Hotel Policies
The staff of the Governor Hotel is delighted you have selected us as your hotel of choice while you are in beautiful downtown Olympia, WA. Listed below are a few of our hotel policies for your review. If you have questions regarding our policies, please feel free to phone or e-mail us and we would be happy to discuss them with you.

Cancellation Policy
Our standard cancellation policy including weather related cancellations is 24 hours.  If the reservation is not cancelled by 3:00 pm the day prior to your anticipated date of arrival, first night's room and tax will be assessed.  Our Special Event cancellation policy  is 7 days.  If the reservation is not cancelled by 3:00 pm seven days prior to your anticipated date of arrival, the entire stay's room and tax will be assessed.  You will be notified of this policy at time of confirmation if your stay is over a special event date.

Reserving and Registering for a Guest Room
Guests calling to book a room and/or registering for a room must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Additional Person Fee
There is a $10 fee for each additional guest in your room 18 years of age and older. Under 18 stay free.

Pet Policy
Your pets are valued members of your family and we are delighted to have them stay with you. There is a $50 non-refundable pet fee per room per stay regardless of the length on your stay, which will be added to your guestroom. This fee is for specialized cleaning of the room to assist our future guests who may have pet sensitivities. At the Governor Hotel, we welcome most pets as our guests; however, if you are traveling with a uncommon pet, please contact us in advance for any special needs your "family member" may have. Pets are not to be left unattended in your guestroom.

Security Inspection
Room attendants begin work at 9:00am. If you do not wish to be disturbed at this time, place the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the outside of the entry door. For your safety, each room is inspected daily. Our staff will contact you as to a convenient time.

Credit Card Policy
All major credit cards accepted

Cash Paying Guests
We accept cash and all major credit cards.  If you are paying by cash we will require a security deposit determined by the hotel.

Safe Warranty Fee
Each guestroom includes a laptop-sized safe. There is a $1.50 plus tax safe warranty fee that covers up to $5,000 if anything were to be stolen out of the safe in your room. Upon request this can be removed at check-out.

Non-smoking/Smoking Rooms
Please request your preference at time of reservation.

Cribs/Rollaway Beds
Available upon request. Cribs are provided complimentary. Rollaway beds are $10 per day.

Check In
Check in time is 3:00pm. If you arrive prior to that time and your room is ready, we will be delighted to register you sooner.

Check Out
Check out time is 12 Noon. Should you need to extend your stay to a later check out time a fee may apply and will be based on availability.

Guest Service Hours
Open 24 hours a day to better serve your needs.

Guest Laundry Facilities
Coin-operated machines are located on the 2nd floor. $2.00 each to wash and dry. Laundry soap is available for purchase at Guest Services.

Parking
Complimentary parking for one vehicle is included with your guestroom. Extra vehicle parking and day visitor parking is $3/vehicle per day. Covered parking is also available.
